Everyday Deals Frequently Asked Questions
Last updated on: 21 November 2024
1. What is the Everyday Deals program?
The Everyday Deals program is a savings initiative that allows cardholders to maximise their spending through discounts at hundreds of select merchants across Australia. All you need to do is simply use your EML card to make purchases at participating merchants.
2. How do I get the discount?
Simply use your card online or instore at participating merchants and the discount will be automatically applied to your card account – it is that easy!
3. Will I always receive the benefit in the form of a discount on my EML card?
Mostly, yes. But not always. For example, some online offers will apply discounts at the shopping cart and others may involve the delivery of a digital gift card as a reward.
4. How quickly will my discount be applied?
Most offers will be applied within 1-3 business days. Some discounts may be subject to a cooling off period, in which case the time frame for the delivery of the offer will be communicated together with the offer terms and conditions.
5. How do I enrol in the program?
There is no need to enrol in the program. If your organisation has signed up to the Everyday Deals program, all cardholders within this program are automatically enrolled when they activate their card.
6. Where do I find the offers?
Check your organisation’s app or website for participating merchants. Note merchant discounts are subject to change and are correct as at the date displayed.
7. Can the offers change?
Yes, offers can change often. Please check your app or the list of participating merchants before making a purchase to see if an offer is still valid. Sometimes, merchants may remove their offers from the program. New merchants are frequently added to the program and discount amounts for different merchants can vary. Hospitality rates tend to change more frequently.
8. Do I need to use my card directly at the point of sale to get the discount?
Yes, to qualify for the discount, you need to pay directly with your card at the merchant. If you use third-party payment methods like PayPal or Uber Eats, where the merchant isn’t listed as the seller, the discount will not apply. So make sure you're paying straight through the merchant for the offer to count!
9. Can I buy gift cards at a discount with my card?
Not yet, but this is coming soon.
10. What happens if I receive a discount in error?
If you receive a discount or refund on your card in error, for example, the discount may be withdrawn from your card account.
11. What happens if I don’t receive a discount I am entitled to?
If you believe you have not received a discount that was promoted on the app, please contact us via email to this email address: support@emlpayments.com.au
12. How do I opt-out of the program?
There is no opt-out process. You will be enrolled in the rewards program for as long as you hold an active EML card and your organisation is signed up to the program.
13. Who is EML?
EML is the card issuer of your card. EML is also the provider of the Everyday Deals program.
